Welcome to Bruce Whamond Disco's - Tayside's leading provider of entertainment for all occasions. Whatever the occasion, a wedding, a birthday, a corporate event or just a party in general, at BWD we will deliver music and entertainment tailored directly to your needs, taste, and style.
We cater for all music tastes, from all decades, and unlike other mobile disco's we ask for your input to your event. We love to hear about your requests and ideas - we believe you should have the opportunity to make your event special to you, and not a showcase for the Dj. Whether you want fun and games, or just dam good music - we can deliver!
We cover the entire Tayside, Angus, and Fife areas - however we can travel further if necessary.

Weddings
Your wedding or civil partnership is one of the most important days of your life. You and your guests will remember it forever, and you want to remember it for all the right reasons. Your music is an integral part of your day, and many couples spend a considerable amount of time choosing their first dance or aisle music. So why not put the same effort into your evening entertainment? We can provide any type of music - including Ceilidh.
Requests
Our wedding service is unlike that of any other mobile disco. When you book with BWD you will be sent out a booking form, which contains a requests sheet. We would like you to use the request sheet to make the music special to your day.
Why not fill it up with some of 'your' special songs as a couple? Or surprise your parents by having their first dance played for them? Some of your guests may have travelled a long way to be with you, do you have a song especially for them? Use the request sheet to involve your guests in your big day and help us make your evening all the more memorable for it.
Finishing Touches
Don't be alarmed if you see us taking a picture of you on your big day - we're not strange - honest! We just need a picture of you to put on the front of the wedding CD. We make up a wedding CD of the music we played on your day. The CD will also have your first dance and any other special requests you made.
Your music will evoke memories for years to come and we're just helping you along the way. There is no extra cost for this service. 1 CD is included as standard, extra copies can be ordered if required.
Civil Partnerships
At BWD we have helped many couples celebrate their civil partnership. Whether you are throwing a huge party or a more personal and intimate affair we can help you tailor your music to suit your event.
It's a very special day and your music should be a reflection of you, your partner and guests. We won't turn up with cases full of Madonna megamixes and It's Raining Men. We even promise not to play any Kylie (unless your guests ask us of course!). All we ask is that you complete your requests form and give us a call to discuss your day.

We can cater for any kind of event, whether you are having a children's party, a 21st or a Ruby Wedding, we are experienced in them all.
With over 20 years experience in mobile discos, BWD have catered for all kinds of parties and events in all types of locations. Our professional high quality sound and light equipment means that we will never struggle to create the right party atmosphere at your event, whether you want loud and bright, or atmospheric and gentle.
We can provide all kinds of music, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s or even just a mix of them all. In addition we'll ask you for your requests and make sure that whatever type of event, that your guests leave singing and dancing.
BWD Customer Service
At BWD we stand by four basic principles for every event no matter how big or small;
Punctual - We aim to be at your venue at least 1 hour before your guests are due to arrive. Consequently you'll never have to worry about the DJ being there on time or ready to go.
Professional - We are dressed for the occasion, we won't turn up in scruffy jeans and a flips flops. Our equipment is also dressed - it's tidy and safe with no messy wires - so you don't have to worry about young children or exuberant dancers having a nasty accident.
Planning - We will make sure we have all your special songs before arriving at the event so that you are not let down. We are happy to answer any questions in the run up to your event or provide any reassurance you may need to ensure that your event runs as smoothly as possible.
Participation - We actively encourage your guests to provide us with requests; at the time of booking you will even be provided with an optional requests sheet to complete in advance.
