I am a DJ with over 18 years mobile experience, though started working with a mobile DJ in 1983 as an assistant.
First started working as a DJ in my own right around 1989 when I used to DJ youth dances at my church using a 'all-in-one' twin deck with mixer and a pair of speakers that had 4 flashing lights built in each. The whole set cost about £100 and only served to spark my enthusiasm to set up on my own.
In 1994 I finally took the plunge and bought my 1st real set. After doing 3 or 4 'Charity' gigs, I was contacted by an agent who started providing me with regular work. A year later I was advertising in the Thomson Local and that's when things really took off. We slowly moved from vinyl to all CDs and have now become completely mp3. My current set-up was purchased in 2008.
We have first class Peavey sound system, Shure SM58 mic and an excellent light show including the latest DMX scanners and 4-head lasers.
