Scorpio Mobile Disco offers a reliable and competitive service, with over 20 years experience. Covering mostly the Buxton and High Peak area, though we will travel further when required. We do a lot of work for the Pavilion Gardens and the Palace Hotel in Buxton, but are just happy to play at smaller venues in the area, like The Railway Hotel, Harpur Hill recreational club, Buxton Working Mens Club and Buxton Football club. Cressbrook Hall and Hartington Hall are popular wedding venues as they are both set in beautiful countryside.
Our aim to make your party a memorable one for all the right reasons and play a good mix but are just as happy to play your specific kind of music too, sometimes people prefer to have their personal taste of music like reggae or perhaps heavy metal. Other functions may be a 60s or 70s theme night or summer beach party, it's your night and we work around your requirements. From the moment of booking we are on hand to discus all your party needs and are happy to take advance play lists as well as requests at the function.
Childrens parties usually are for 2 hours held during the afternoon. We do a few school discos in our local area as well as the private ones, we provide the sweets and prizes for the games and competitions. Teenagers prefer a Friday or Saturday night function with a more grown up feel but still like the odd game and a dancing competition.
Some of the discos we do are for groups with learning difficulties, mostly adults. We always have a great time and the charity nights are always a pleasure to do as well.
Insured for £10 million PLI and CRB checked to work with children and vulnerable adults.
