Club 54 Mobile Vinyl Disco
We specialise in 70's and 80's discos on vinyl, using twin record decks and a retro lighting system.
All music is played on original 45rpm records we do not use laptops or mp3 players.
This disco is completely original, just how it used to be.
We have found that 70's and 80's nights are becoming very popular and we have a unique set up. We started our disco in the early eighties and we are back after a rest and due to popular demand for these types of discos.
If you remembered going to the Palais, Fusion, Baileys and Adam and Eve in Leicester, we can recreate the music memories of them days. The first recognised disco record was George McRae with rock your baby, which was a massive hit in 1974 reaching number 1 on the 27th July.
Club 54 is named after the famous disco in New York, where famous people frequented for a good night out. The song by Chic called Le Freak was written by Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards, and it was about Club 54 in New York.
We specialise in 70's nights, although we do 80's nights as well, or we can mix the two for a 70's and 80's night. We do not do any other era of music. We will play at pubs, clubs and also do private parties, so if you have a big birthday or anniversary coming up get in touch.
