What to expect from a mobile disco?
Experience in Family and Corporate entertainment, in venues from wedding marquees, barns, schools and village halls, hotels, members only social clubs, gardens and private homes and children’s parties.
Outside bookings are particular popular and we can arrange the hire of marquees and other outside items.
Experience in being the warm up men to introduce bands or entertainers and of course, to get the party started.
MC and organiser for commercial and trade events.
We have repeat business at a range of venues and events.
Music is played to the audience and to your wishes, if you want club and trance for an hour we will do that, but I’m not sure if all would enjoy (perhaps they would?).
You can send us a play list of any favourites before the event, however, please have in mind that we have never played a customers full play list, only because some songs can clear a dance floor.
We are a traditional Disco and one, two or three DJ’s depending on the type of event you are having, if it’s too loud or too quiet, say so. If lights are annoying a guest in the corner, say so, we can move effects lighting.
Whilst shopping around for quotes ask how long it takes the disco to set up, the shorter the time, the less you are buying, (unless there is a team of DJs).
If possible, have a look at the disco.
It takes one DJ two hours to set up a full Xcape and around 1.5 hours to set down, this is subject to access and assuming the event is held on ground level.
It is important that the venue you intend to hire is aware of these times and agrees.
If you intend on slowing down to finish at 11.49, then subject to the access, the venue will expect Xcape Disco to have packed up and left by around 1.30am.
What does a mobile disco cost?
This really depends on what you would like and what the access is at the venue, to give you a flavour, weekdays/eves are cheaper than weekends and our costs range from £80 for a children’s birthday party to £450 for a wedding with MC. There is also a mileage cost which you need to consider.
Finally and for your information, we have full public liability insurance and the equipment is PAT tested.
