Our Mobile Disco is always pleased to provide a quality mobile DJ service for any family party. Family parties include wedding receptions, birthdays, anniversaries, and engagement parties and will often include an audience with a wide age range, making it far more tricky for the DJ to judge the right music selection.
In an average party the DJ may play as few as 70 to 80 tracks so every tune has to work. At family parties requests on the night help, but sometimes requests might be inappropriate for the occasion so discretions needs to be used. It may be the latest number one that every teenager in the room will love, but if it contains graphic lyrics it probably will not be a good idea to play it at your granddads 80th birthday party.
Its also the case that a family party DJ will not make the evening a success by playing the latest club tune to please the younger audience then switching to a number one from the 50's in order to balance things out.
A good Family Party DJ will have the experience to select tracks that are popular with everyone and get gran on the dance floor with her teenage grand children.
