We understand that there are other DJ's and Mobile Discos offering pricing that are seen as unrealistically LOW or HIGH, we base our prices on a standard setup that can have additional items added to it. We like to discuss your requirements and then come to a price that meets your budget.

What is a standard set up?
Good question.
Our standard set up includes Sound System suitable for up to 150 guests, a lighting rig that will display a good selection of lighting effects. Free standing DJ console
Smoke/Strobes are subject to the permission of the venue/function room staff.

Sound Levels
We have enough sound reinforcement to bring the music to your guests without splitting their ears. The music level can be adjusted to the required level to offer enjoyment to the dancers.
Large sound system set-ups are available, however, the extra sound systems will incur extra charges.

We carry PLI of £10,000,000.00 Most Hotels require this level of cover.
We hold PRODUB License This is required to conform with PPL.
Our equipment is Pat Tested. We also have experienced and competent staff to carry out PAT testing as we carry our own PAT Testing Equipment so there is no worries about our equipment not complying with electrical safety checks.

Disco Sounds have a vast amount of music and, as DJ's, we have years of experience at filling dance floors for all age groups, occasions and tastes. When you have booked our mobile disco you can download a music request sheet to enable you to make advanced music requests.

Disco Sounds are a reliable and highly dependable disco company. We always arrive an hour before we are due to start; giving ourselves ample time to have our mobile disco set up and ready. If required, we can set up in the morning or early afternoon. (This may incur a small extra charge)

Professionalism
Disco Sounds are Professional DJ's that are skilled in providing a great nights entertainment. When booking our mobile disco we will always send a receipt to safeguard the booking for both parties. We carry Public liability insurance and all of our equipment is PAT tested annually. We are happy to provide our documents to venue managements if required.

Equipment
We believe a mobile disco needs to have great sound and colour, to be able to create the right party atmosphere. The Roadshow can be set up to suit any venue large or small. Our mobile disco has great sound quality and we use a mixture of effect lights, haze and stands to project a party atmosphere of sound and light. We always carry full backup systems, should any equipment fail, this ensures that we can continue with the minimum of fuss.

Extras Available
Uplighters: Increases the mood lighting as uplighters are place around the wall areas at 1.5 metre spacings with variable colour changes really adds to the overall experience. Colour can be set to the colour of the wedding theme;

Marquee Set Ups
It is important that the Marquee supplier is made aware that we require up to 4 13amp power sockets that are run from two separate fuse outlets. Alternatively we can link into a 16 amp system. IP33 connectors

If we are required to run our own extension leads to a nearby ring main we only connect to the system by means of a 13 amp 3 pin standard plug. The wire we use is 6mm 3 core and this is charged at £25.00 to run. Power has to be available for a period of time of 1.5 hrs after the music has stopped as Marquees generally do not have lighting to enable us to pack away our equipment.

Early Set-Up Charges
We offer the early set up facility, where the equipment is ready to offer background music as your guests arrive, this also allows for the use of the PA system for the formal speeches as two radio microphones are available. The charge for this service is based on a standard rate of £65.00 plus £15.00 per hour.

As Discosounds is part of a well-established Entertainment Logistics Company that has a vast amount of public address and lighting equipment, larger venues can be accommodated subject to agreement on the fees applicable to such a venue.
