Music has always been a great part of my life, even from a early age. From college bands playing drums in punk, rock, pop, indie and later on in funk soul bands. This has taught me a great appreciation of many styles and genres of music.
This grounding was a key skill in my rather varied music career as recording artist, studio owner, sound engineer and music producer. I have worked with the likes of legendary eighties icons Rick Astley and Gary Barlow.
I have done production work in film, live PA sound engineering and finally taught NVQ studio engineering courses at Hard City Records and Liverpool Performing Arts School in Liverpool.
Funky Inc. is a fusion of all these influences and experiences gained along the way; making sure you have a professional event based on a solid music business, performance and entertainment expertise

We adhere to a strict no drinking policy during the evening, we are after all at work.
We will always wear appropriate clothing to suit the event. Please give prior warning if there is a dress code.
We will arrive onsite with plenty of time to setup equipment and sound check before guests arrive.
We will always try and accommodate music requests and style choices where appropriate.
We will fill in if required in the event that entertainers etc. fail to turn up unforeseen events occur
We will not mic. hog as we believe you want to listen to our great music selections rather than voice overs.
We will act as stand in compere if required to do so please prior notice to tailor our set accordingly
