In July of 1992 DJ Dave Swirsky founded Expressway Music in his rented basement apartment in Fresh Meadows Queens. Dave saw a need in the Event/Wedding market for a DJ(s) who were focused primarily on two things Music and customer service.

At that time, (and still now), the DJ industry was chock full of Part Time DJ’s more interested in DJ’ing as a hobby rather than a profession.
